There are places in S\u00e3o Miguel where the human presence almost disappears from the landscape. Lagoa do Fogo is one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On clear days, the blue water stands out against the vegetation and, from the highest points, the views stretch far beyond the lake itself.
